Dear there,
I am using Dec Alpha workstation. The red hat linux version 7.0 is being used as the operating system. I am doing gas-liquid two-phase flow with free surface. The computation goes on well, but when there is surface tension force, or the PLIC subroutine (based on the Young's algorithm) is used instead of the Donor-Acceptor scheme is used, the computation crashed. The error message is: float processing error. I had same problem when I used the PIII-733 with red hat linux version 6.2. But when I used the linux version 7.0 (and above), the problem solved. Did you have same experience? Your help will be highly appreciated. Ray |
