Default BEM in Turbomachinery

Hello all,

I like to know if there is a major restriction in NS computations using BEM for turbomachinery flows (esp fans).I know FEM and FVM but I am new to BEM but my main interest is on turbomachinery flows..so does any of you can tell me whether it's worthy or not?
