Does anyone have ideas on how to extract streamfunction values from primitive variables calculated on a coarse mesh? I am aware that there are a number of integration routines that if given the velocity field will calculate the streamfunction. However if the mesh is fairly coarse, can you get accurate representations of the streamfunction? To give an example, I am solving the lid driven cavity flow problem using a 10 by 10 node mesh. Does anyone know of any routines that can accurately extract streamfunction values given velocities on a 10 x 10 mesh? Thanks!
