I was wondering if anyone could help me?

I was wondering does anyone have any examples of panel techniques used in the aerospace industry + their limitations?

Get a copy of Katz and Plotkin's "Low Speed Aerodynamics", 2nd edition. It will answer most if not all your questions about panel codes for aerodspace applications.

For an example of panel methods in action see Analytical Methods' web site at http://www.am-inc.com. Their VSAERO panel code is quite popular.
