Dear CFD'er
Simpel question: What is the best way to simulate heavy gas dispersion using commercial CFD codes. What do I have to take into account ? Does anyone have good reference to papers about using CFD for these dispersion processes and perhaps compared to Gaussian models ? Most of these dispersion are handle using Gaussian dispersion models. Thanks in advance. Kind Regards Roued |

Check out the fluidyn software series (www.fluidyn.com). We have developped a number of CFD codes especially devoted to environmental problems, among which heavy gas dispersion. You can find references and details about models on the website.
