Need NACA airfoil generation code - preferable source so I can incorporate into my research studies. Anybody know free tools avaialble?

This address well let you download a program called Xfoil it is a viscous boundary layer code, but has the ability to output any NACA 4-digit airfoil with up to 280 points specifying the curvature. You can also modify the camber and scale the airfoil before you do this, I find it very good although not designed for this purpose. Go to this site and download the file, if you need help extracting the airfoil polars I will be happy to tell you the steps. All the best Andy |
