ICEM Cfd+ Periodic boundary conditions

Hi, Can any body tell me how to specify periodic boundary conditions in ICEM CFD hexa mesh generation.

Yes, this is a bit tricky.
First make sure that you have defined the periodicity in the Mesh Editor (Geometry/Surface/Mesh Params/Model/Define Periodicity) and save your tetin file. Then inside Hexa you just need to do Blocking/Periodic Nodes and pick two nodes that are periodic. You can verify that the periodicity is correct by setting the "Periodicity" display on in the options for the Face display. |
