What do you mean by 1D. If you are interrested in a 1D code to solve fully developped channel flow (axy or not , turbulent or not), I've got one using FEM.

I actually mean unsteady Navier Stokes in 1 spatial dimension. I'd like to compare the results with my DSMC simulation of normal shock wave formation.

i think that you should actually ask for a quasi-1D euler flow solver. If that is the case, i do have such a code (unsteady,Finite Difference, MacCormack). If that is what you are looking for, just let me know. Sincerely,

Frederic Felten.

hi frederic

i am trying to write NS code for compressible flow over flat plate. I am referring to ch 10 in cfd by anderson for help. but i'm really stuck @ a point. I need help with that. I know where's the problem in code, but dont know how to rectify it. Have u tried that code, coz it would be really helpful if u can help me. or if possible mail me the NS code. my email ID is varunjain89@gmail.com
