in James & Davis's JFM paper(426, p47), they wrote, 'the most detailed knowledge about flow near interface has come from numerical studies and results from these not consistent with Brinkman's equation'. i am freshman in porous medium, i want to know which papers they refered, say, simulation without Brinkman model. thanks.
