hi there,
i'm implementing an Inflow-Outflow type of boundary condition(instead of a periodic condition), and using the ghost cell approach for the longitudinal direction. I'm seeking informations or references dealing with setting the velocities for the ghost cells. Sincerely, Frederic Felten. |

Hi, Frederic, About mathematical and numerical boundary conditions for primitive and conservative variables you can read in the book by Charles Hirsh, Numerical Computation of External and Internal Flows ( vol. 2, Ch.3). I have used those recipes (for the ghost cell in incoming and outcoming boundaries), it worked very well. Good luck,
