Dear all,
Where can I get the knowledge about meshing data strucure, such as mesh partitioning, dual and sorting algorithm? Thanks,Weiqing |

Dear Weiqing,
What type of mesh are you talking of? In case of unstructured mesh, some useful data structures are available in R.Lohner's paper "Some Useful Data Structures for the Generation of Unstructured Grids". Communications in Applied Numerical Methods, Vol.4, 123-135(1988). Nikita Babkin. |

Dear Nikita, Yes, I am talking about the unstructured mesh. I will check the paper. Do you know any book or website about the computer algorithm used in Scientific computation?

The only sources I know are the papers of Lohner. For three-dimensional algorithms I can point to his paper "Generation of three-dimensional unstructured grids by the advancing front method" International Journal for Numerical Methods in Fluids. Vol.8,1135-1149 (1988). Nikita.
