Default Exporting Ideas files into Patran Neutral

I am trying to export ideas file into Patran Neutral format (.mesh). I wonder if anyone has done similar translation before. I can see there are programmes written in Fortran that can carry out the conversion, but I wonder if there is any other more stright forward apprach. Thanks for your help!
