dear sirs, i use the parabolized NV equations to solve a channel flow problem. after applying the coodinate transformation, i obtained one mixed derivative term in the difussion part of each equation. in order to use ADI to solved the transformed NV equations, how do i deal with the mixed derivatives? please advise. thanks.

hi,
club the cross derivative terms with source terms. so u get (Ap+Sp)*Phi_p =Sigma A_i * Phi_i + Su where Su=dp/dx+cross_derivative terms. u can now implement adi by repetitively calling TDMA. routine hope this helps abhijit tilak. |
