Anybody know how to read in a Plot3D binary grid and solution files? Thanks. John |

(1). You don't need to know how to read in binary files, because it is binary not ASCII. (2). What you need is the PLOT3D file I/O format. I don't have the format with me, even though I have used it. (3). Try mesh generation code vendors, or NASA/Ames. They should be able to give you the up-to-date answer.

(1). Very good. I think, that's the information one will need to read the Plot3D files. One is the grid file, and the other is the Q-file. (2). Thank you very much for the website information.
