our collaborative research center is fully dedicated to aeroelasticity and flow modulation at aircraft wings.
Unfortunately, most information is in German. I personally have written my Master's thesis about static divergence and flutter with one torsional degree of freedom (in German !) A collegue of mine has conducted aeroelastic direct simulation as well..in German again. http://www.lufmech.rwth-aachen.de/sfb401/ some references are under http://www.lufmech.rwth-aachen.de/us...d/welcome.html |

Thank you, Frank. But I don't know German, unfortunately (Maybe I should learn German if I want to get into this area...).
Are there any references in English? Thanks |

Sid,
Several of my collegues here at CFDRC have done extensive work on aeroelastic simulations. There is a section of our web page dedicated to aeroelastic simulations. Go to <www.cfdrc.com>, click on Products, then click MDICE. Scroll down a bit and click on "Fluid Structure Interaction" on the right side of the screen. At the bottom of the page are several simulation that there is more detail on. As for references, the information on the web site should be enough to help you search for papers. Regards, Alton |

Hi,Sid, you can find too many references here,
Journal of wind engineering and industrial aerodynamics,of course, most of the relative papers deal with unstreamlined bodies. good luck. z.w.zhu |

your nearby engineering library would have many references search also for for multidisciplinary analysis/design
