Does anyone know , how to make discretisation for eps-equation (in k-eps Turbulence Model) using FEM Standard Galerkin ?
Thanks for your help, Sigit |

If the k equation is :
Dk/Dt = P_k - e + div(nu+nu_t/sigma_k)grad k and the epilson equation is : De/Dt = c_e1 P_k - c_e2 e^2/k + div(nu+nu_t/sigma_e)grad e one can write the two equations in a similar form : for k : (D/Dt - div(nu+nu_t/sigma_k)grad + e/k ) k = P_k for e : (D/Dt - div(nu+nu_t/sigma_e)grad + c_e2 e/k ) e = c_e1 P_k e/k they can be discretize the same way using the weak formulation and the galerkin decomposition. Note that it is easier to considere the ration e/k constant by element in each term. |
