Hello everyone.
I am doing embedded LES. Can anyone guide me how to calculate the quality index of LES (that how much kinetic energy has been resolved)? I will be extremely grateful Best regards, Maria |

Assessing LES quality involves determining how much kinetic energy is captured at resolved scales. You should use spectral analysis, filter width, subgrid-scale model energy, and comparison to reference data to evaluate resolution. Consider grid resolution, SGS model, and flow complexity when interpreting results.
