Murray John is on a distinguished road
I get this error when I process simpleFoam after snappyHexMesh. I am trying to proceed with the cylinder flow example following the instructions as the end of the motorBike tutorial by Cyprien Rusu

--> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR:
size 38792 is not equal to the given value of 74400

file: /home/john/OpenFOAM/john-11/run/cylinderFlow2/0/U from line 17 to line 53.

Your U file contains 38792 elements but your mesh only contains 74400. This makes no logical sense and hence the error.

Try and figure out how this inconsistency arose.
