Hello there.
I have a blender design for a vortex generator. Similar but different from infamous airtabs. I have a 3D printer and I plan to print some few pieces to stick to my caravan in order to try to reduce drag, gain stability and have fun meanwhile. I'm advanced computer user with a bachelor degree in computers, but not very familiar with cfd. I would like to have a way to know if my design is a complete rubbish or it can do something. My naif idea is to use a stl, 3mf or similar cad format, drop it somewhere, execute the simulation, wait whatever the time and have a video showing blue and red vortex and see if it works more or less. Could you recommend me anyhing in order to acomplish that? I'm suppose I'm pretty far from that, but any help is appreciated. Also, would you recommend me spending time in using such vortex or it doesn't worth the time? Thanks a lot. Best regards.
