Hello everyone!
I am working on my final degree project to complete my Chemical Engineering degree, and I am programming a Clinker cooler in Aspen Custom Modeler. For this, I am using the finite volume technique, and so far, I have formulated the mass balance for both air and Clinker. The problem arises when I formulated the momentum balance in the "y" dimension. To make it easier to follow the problem, I recommend opening the attached PDF, which corresponds to my mesh. When formulating the momentum balance, I first did it without considering the upper velocities, and the simulation worked fine. But now that I have also formulated the upper row with boundary conditions for the outlet, I am encountering errors when simulating dynamically. If anyone with experience in this field could help me, even if you are not familiar with Aspen Custom Modeler, I can take care of translating the ideas into code and also explaining the code to you. I am not attaching it to this message because it is too large. I am desperate with this error and do not know how to proceed with the program. Thank you very much. |
