Hi, I am trying to simulate a popet valve used in aircraft landing gears. The valve is a spring based valve that opens and closes based on fluid and spring pressure. Additional for the nose gear there is a separator between the fluids oil and nitrogen however for main there is no separator and mixing occurs. I would be glad if I could get some insight on how you would approach this problem as the valve closes due to spring load and opens with fluid pressure.
I am at an intermediate level with openfoam having run a few cases with exterior flow over aircraft bodies however I have never done fsi and am open to learning/using it. I also have access to MSC One which gives me access to msc marc nastran and cradle with cosim. Any help is greatly appreciated. |
