Hello,

I am trying to carry out simulations with porous media and have a question.
In my simulation, I have a large domain (water) and a domain contained in it, which has a cube shape and consists of a porous medium. If I let the porous medium flow in the x-direction and output the forces on the interface of the porous medium in CFX post-processing, I strangely get significant forces in the x-, y- and z-direction (all forces are equal in magnitude).
I don't understand why the system shows me forces in the y and z directions.
It would be very kind if someone could help me and explain this to me.

With best regards
Alex
