Hello all,
I am currently working on a simulation using OpenFoam version-6, focusing on the geometry illustrated in Figure-1 (attached). Due to limitations in computational resources, I am excluding the plenum chamber from the meshing process. Consequently, the final geometry I'm working with is depicted in Figure-2. I have a couple of questions regarding this setup: Plenum-1 Pressure Measurement: If I place a probe (indicated by the black dot) at the inlet patch (highlighted by the thick red line) and measure the pressure, can this value be considered as the plenum-1 pressure? Throat Pressure Measurement: Similarly, if I position a probe (black dot) at the throat section (marked by the dotted red line) and measure the pressure, can this measurement be regarded as the throat pressure? I would greatly appreciate any insights. Thank you in advance.
