Hello everyone! I kindly ask you to help me with the following:
I simulate solid-water flow in Ansys Fluent by using Eulerian-Eulerian method. The flow domain is the annulus of two horizontal concentric pipes. I run transient simulations and want to know, how the overall solid phase volume fraction changes as the simulation progresses, namely a graph of volume fraction VS iterations (or time step). (see attachments) I know that this can be done by using volume integrals. but I am not sure whether I should choose volume average or volume integral calculation method. The same applies to the mass: if i want to know the overall mass of solid phase in kg in the entire annulus domain, should I choose just mass, mass integral or mass average option? Thanks! |
