How to integrate notepad data into the 3D computational domain using script?

Hello all,

I am currently working on a project in OpenFoam version-6, involving a 3D hollow cylindrical domain, as depicted in Figure-1, with specific initial and boundary conditions. I possess a separate notepad file containing some values for pressure, temperature, and velocity, which I have attached as NotepadData. My goal is to incorporate this data into the domain, as shown in Figure-2.

How to write a script that can effectively take this notepad data and integrate it into the domain. I am aware that I need to utilize setFields, but I lack the knowledge to create the necessary script for this task.

Is there any tutorial available for this kind of task? I kindly request any guidance or insights from the community members experienced in this area.

What you need to do will depend on whatever CFD solver you are using. It might be a script in python, lua, javascript or something invented, a text or binary file in a particular format with an entry somewhere naming the file or possibly something else.

Sorry, I forgot to mention about the CFD solver. I am using OpenFOAM version -6.
