Hello Everyone,
Can anyone tell me what condition can we used as an interface detection criteria in multiphase Euler-Euler simulation (with Modified-HRIC scheme). My case is gas-liquid mass transfer in cylindrical bubble column: Dimension- (D, H)= (150, 460) Bath depth (filled with water)=250mm Free board filled with air=210mm At the free surface there are diffused cells. For example, in cells above 250mm, volume fraction of liquid is detected due to diffuse characteristic of Euler-Euler model, although, I have used sharp/diffuse interface capturing scheme. So I guess volume fraction can not be used as a criteria to detect the interface. Can anyone guide me with this? any reference will be appreciated Regards Krishna |
