I have done simulation on 2D JET on different Reynolds No from 200 to 5000. My results showed When we increase reynold number its potential core region also increases. why is it so? can anyone tell me?

What kind of formulation are you using? At higher Re number there is no physical meaning in an unsteady 2D simulation. |

The boundary layer gets thinner when all you do is increase the velocity. The same happens on a flat plate.
