Hello, I am using ANSYS Fluent to study sloshing inside a tank with baffles.
I did the simulation on the tank without baffles and I had no problems, but now when I insert the tank with baffles it gives me lots of errors and then it gives a floating point. One of the errors says it is Divergence detected in AMG solver: k Divergence detected in AMG solver: epsilon Error at host: floating point exception I believe that the error is because of the mesh. I am doing the mesh in ANSYS mechanical and I am using the option of adaptive sizing. I believe that this is what is causing problems because when I don't use it the simulation does not give me an error. Thus, I would like to know if in a simulation of this type where I am using VOF is necessary to use adaptive sizing. Furthermore, is adaptative sizing the same as adaptive meshing? Also, my continuity residuals are very high, what can it be? I hope somebody can help me. I have already tried some solutions but none seems to be working. Thank you very much for your attention. |
