As what I understood, multiphase method deals problem as fraction of fluids(or solid, in case of particle) inside single cell, while LPT calculates movement of every single particle. Is it correct?
Also, I saw some result according to someone that if fraction of particle increase to some 10~20%, then multiphase method actually works better than LPT. If it is about calculation speed, it would be so but is it even case of accuracy too? What would be the line of fraction where each method starts to become more accurate? |
