Hi,
I have been trying to find some literature on how parallel CFD (particularly compressible implicit FVM) is implemented. A combined focus on the math and the algorithms used, without being drowned in the math would be nice. No popular CFD books that I've looked into such as for instance "Computational Fluid Dynamics - Principles and Applications" by Blazek or "The Finite Volume Method in Computational Fluid Dynamics" by Moukalled et al. addresses this topic as far as I'm aware. I've found a few books online, but these seems to in general focus on FEM for poisson equations, I would have liked something applied directly to FVM. Hope someone is able to help! EDIT: I found these two sources in Blazek which seem to be somewhat what I'm looking for: "IMPLICIT SCHEMES AND PARALLEL COMPUTING IN UNSTRUCTURED GRID CFD" - Venkatakrishnan, https://www.semanticscholar.org/pape...e2ef0df64d52c7 and "An unstructured mesh Newton solver for compressible fluid flow and its parallel implementation" - Barth, https://www.semanticscholar.org/pape...b669fea7f082ca |
