For the Lee model used along with VOF model in FLUENT for evaporation-condensation problem, we have to set a coefficient which may range from 0.1 to 1000. From my understanding, this coefficient would affect the mass transfer rate between the phase, thus the spatial distribution of each phase.
My question is whether this coefficient would alter the total volume of each phase? For instance, would the Lee model correctly model the total boil-off vapor volume in a boiling problem no matter what coefficient is used? |
