I am trying to write a simple piece of code to calculate wing parameters for a few different wing configurations, but I do not know whether to treat zero lift angle of attack as a positive or a negative number. In cl vs alpha graphs, the zero lift angle is always negative for cambered sections. I have attached the formula I am using, taken from Anderson - Fundamentals of Aerodynamics.
