Hey,
i would like to model a plate heat exchanger. A single plate is desired, surrounded by a hot and a cold fluid. Now my question is: What are some practical recommendations regarding the mesh as well as the boundary conditions? How do parameters like hydraulic diameter or turbulent intesitiy and length scale/mixing length behave? For clearance i use GMSH for meshing and OpenFoam for solving. Any shared experiences are greatly appreciated! Any discussion is welcome and i would love to hear from you! |
