openFoam v2206 came with a new boundary condition that can be used for adsorption. I have been trying to understand the meaning of the entry (thickness) and i still cant understand it. What exactly is that thickness. When i look through the source code, they only say it is the solid thickness along the patch:
Code:
//- Solid thickness along the patch autoPtr<PatchFunction1<scalar>> thicknessPtr_; Can anyone please help me understand this. After trying to run the tutorial i realised that it reduces the area where adsorption takes place and eventually have less material adsorbed. How do i determine this thickness as well. Please help. |
