I am getting negative absolute pressure when I am including Virtual Mass force using constant coefficient value of 0.5. Due to this negative value, the solver is diverging as the density of dispersed phase is depended on absolute pressure through ideal gas EOS.
Model details : Solver : ANSYS CFX 14.5 1) One Continuous Phase & One dispersed phase (Compressible Phase) 2) Drag Model - Ishii Zuber, Non Drag forces includes Lift Force, Wall Lubrication Force, Turbulent Dispersion Force through favre averaged drag term. 3) Bubble induced turbulent viscosity - Sato Model Variable Bubble Diameter is implemented through CEL, as per ideal gas EOS. Things that I have tried : 1) Reducing pseudo time scale 2) Refining the mesh at inlet & large interface zone (Tetrahedral Unstructured Mesh) 3) Lower value of virtual mass coefficient |
