Hi Everyone,
It's been two days, I am searching for a dedicated compilation of experimental results for NACA0012 airfoil for high Reynolds number (of the order of 6) to compare my computational result. I think I have seen it in the book "THEORY OF WING SECTIONS Including a Summary of Airfoil Data" by IRA H. ABBOTT and ALBERT E. VON DOENHOFF. I've checked the book just now there's the data for compressibility effect within Mach number 1+

The following paper gives extensive data for NACA0012 at Re of order 6:
-Harris, C.D. Two-dimensional aerodynamic characteristics of the NACA 0012 aerofoil in the Langley 8 foot transonic pressure tunnel, Tech Rep NASA-TM-81927, NASA, USA, 1981. It is advised as the most accurate work when considering wind tunnel results for NACA0012 by Mccroskey: -Mccroskey, W.J. A critical assessment of wind tunnel results for the NACA 0012 aerofoil, Tech Rep, NASA-TM-100019, NASA, USA (1987). |
