Angled Airfoil Geometry Problem

I'm trying to create a structured mesh for an angled NACA 0012 airfoil. It's very close to being right except for a very tiny issue that is causing large problems in Fluent.
I've imported a closed coordinate file for the airfoil (attached) and use "Surface from Edge" function to create my airfoil surface body. When I do that, the surface body creates a rounded trailing edge instead of a sharp point. I then create my fluid body boundaries and create a boolean>subtract to subtract the fluid body from the airfoil body. I then use the split edge function to split the airfoil in half. Then create a construction Point by selecting the fluid body and the two edges as guides. Instead of creating a point where the two edges meet (the exact trailing edge tip shown in Problem 2 attached image) it creates a point that is a bit offset (Problem attached image). Because of this, I can't create a vertical projection line that is at the exact tip of the airfoil. Any guidance is appreciated. |
