Hi,
I am currently modeling a UAV propeller using OpenFOAM v1912. My goal is to perform an aeroacoustic study.
So far I have used libAcoustics to obtain noise values by applying Ffowcs Williams Hawkings and I have a model that seems to match the experimental values.
I would like to take the study further, and for this I had thought of using the results of the simulations to study how the noise due to the propeller would propagate in a real environment. Does anyone know any code that could serve me for this purpose?
I am trying to work with open source software, but if there is any interesting commercial alternative it could be considered.
Looking around I have found a code called code_Tympan, but I can't find any resources besides the github code that I have not been able to get working. I have also been mentioned the kraken code, but as far as I have found it is intended for marine acoustics, so I interpret that it is not applicable to this case.
Any ideas would be of great help. Thank you very much!

Have you considered that any solver able to solve the unsteady compressible flow formulation provide all you need for acoustic in the pressure field? Why do not still use OpenFOAM ?

The problem with using OpenFOAM is that I would be investing a lot of resources in solving the N-S equations when I am only interested in acoustic pressure.
In addition, I would have to solve them on a very refined mesh to avoid filtering the high frequencies, which would make it impossible to extend the study to large domains.
That's why I'm looking for a way to propagate the acoustic perturbations that are calculated with OpenFOAM.
