Hello Everyone,
I'm trying to use sonicDyMFoam in foam-extend 4.1 to compress some air inside a cylinder. However, I noticed a weird behavior when I apply a movingWallVelocity boundary condition or even a fixed uniform velocity to certain boundaries. This behavior is not existing in the OpenFOAM v2106 ESI version for the same problem using the same solver "name". It seems that the sonicDyMFoam version in foam-extend has a problem applying this boundary condition and applying it to the next cell near the wall. Has anyone tried to solve this problem before? Thanks a lot in advance! https://drive.google.com/file/d/12kv...ew?usp=sharing |
