Hi,

I have a question about principle of a porous zone in CFD. If there is a inlet jet flow toward porous zone, outlet flow would be quite distributed.

I am looking for the reason why fluid distributes in porous media model of CFD.
I mean, I learned that porous model uses Forchheimer eqation for validation of pressure drop. Then, how CFD predicts the distribution of fluid in porous zone?

Thanks in advance for your advice!
