Hi
I'm trying to model gas leaks in a gas turbine enclosure and following the criteria in iso 21789:2009. In section 5.19.5 it says that: "The screening calculation should be undertaken by comparing the volume of the cloud at the envelope contained by the 100% LEL contour, and converted to an equivalent volume at at stoichiometric concentration, with 0.1% of the enclosure volume." What I don't understand is the phrase: converted to an equivalent volume at at stoichiometric concentration Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. allan |
