Hello there!
Can someone please explain to me how Coupled scheme works and when I can use it? I tried to search for information on the internet but I didn't found anything interesting or understandable. Any links would be helpful. |

If you are asking about the Coupled Pressure-Velocity coupling scheme in Fluent...
It solves the continuity and momentum equations simultaneously for pressure and velocity instead of resorting to a pressure correction approach like in SIMPLE and such. It's almost always appropriate to use the coupled scheme. There are some differences in speed, convergence rate, and scalability in parallel performance. You might end up with a preference with experience but it's robust. |
