Hello everyone, first of all, I want to express my gratitude for being a part of the CFD forum, I am sure it will be a great help.
My question is about the Simulation of aerosol. I am trying to inject aerosol (water droplets) inside a cylindrical pipe with one side as a velocity inlet and the other side as a pressure outlet. the aerosol is going in the counter direction of the air flow (from velocity inlet) so for example if the air flow is in x direction, aerosol is going in -x direction. I tried using the lagrangian multiphase model but I am rather confused and don't exactly know what to make out of the results. so my aim is to track the path of the aerosol particle, basically I want to create an air barrier, so the aerosol should not pass this barrier, that is why I am having an air flow in the opposite direction of that of the aerosol. please walk me through with the procedure. PS: I am a beginner with STAR CCM+ THANK YOU VERY MUCH |
