I am trying to simulate high velocity flows ( 165 m/s) through pipes . However, at the high velocities, I am not getting good results. Can anyone give some advice ? I am using ANSYS FLUENT.
With the LES model, at the lower velocities around ( 60m/s) I am getting goodish results when I take into account the the element size and timestep size. However, at velocities higher than that, I am not getting good results. My model also includes a large about of inflation layers ( approx. 40). I am using tetrahedral elements because I wasn't getting good results with brick elements. |
