Hi Everyone,

Firstly to give some context, I am trying to analyse flow around a projectile at supersonic and hypersonic speeds. However when using the density based solver I get a floating point error after 5-9 iterations of the simulation.

My aim is to replicate the results obtained for the parabolic projectile in this paper for a fineness ratio of 4.
https://www.researchgate.net/publica...parative_study

So I have selected a projectile/nosecone base length of 0.15 m and a length of 0.6 m.

Simulation Parameters & Stats
Mesh Stats:
Average Orthogonality Quality = 0.99234
Average Skewness = 3.5288e-002
Average Element Quality = 0.67444
Total Elements = 204428
Bounding Box Diagonal = 1.9071 m

Solver Setup:
Fluid - Air Ideal Gas at Sea Level
Inlet - Velocity inlet
Outlet - Pressure Outlet
Axisymmetric symmetry
Solver - Density
Turbulence Model - Spalart-Allamaras (1 eqn)
Analysis Type - Steady State

Please let me know if there's anything I've missed out which would help you advise me on what I can do to ensure my simulation doesn't keep erroring out.

Thanks for your help in advance
