Hello, I am a student using solidworks in analyzing my project about tidal turbine. I'm new to using flow sim but i know the result of my sim is incorrect. I did an external flow sim, did all the other basic necessary settings in the wizard (that i know of), that includes addition of local averaging rotation, and a stream flow of 1.27m/s. I then selected a rotating region and used available rpm data as input. Also, I only tweaked the computational domain, rotating region, goals and mesh under 'input data' The results showed unreasonable water flow velocity profile, such as higher than input velocities at the leading edge of the blade, the root of the blade (faster than the tip's), and in the wake. I have attached some pictures to show you. Anyone who can help me with this? Thank you so much!
