Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with determining how many nodes are in a certain location in my domain, i.e. a 1 cm by 1 cm by 1 cm section of my domain. I have tried insert ->volume -> method: isovolume ->variable: X, Y or Z (separately) ->mode: between values. I then use the function calculator with the 'count' option to see the number of nodes in that section. This is fine if I want it extending from one end of my domain to another (i.e. from my inlet to outlet, where I can only choose the thickness/width), but I would like to control the X, Y and Z values (length, width and height). I am trying to match the meshing for my domain in ICEM to that from a .msh file, so knowing the number of nodes in a certain area using CFX would be to verify how close I came to replicating the mesh. Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
