Hallo,
I am trying to calculate the COP(coefficient of performance ) for cooling a group of batteries using air using Fluent. Using this equation: Q_out = mc ΔT m=0,02 kg/s C_air= 1006,43 j/kg.k in my case ΔT=8 k so Q_out= 161 W to calculate the electric power of the fan ΔP = 14 Pa so power= 0,233 W !! and COP= 690! Do these values make sense? I do not think so Where is the mistake? Is the method for calculating the fan power correct and the value 0,233 W make sense? |
