Hi all, I am aware that to calculate the Reynolds Number for a single airfoil the L would just be the chord length, but what if they were in a 3 airfoil configurating like a Vertical Axis Wind Turbine? Would anyone know if there is any specific way to calculate the Reference Length in this case? (Find picture attached)
Thanks in advance! |

For 3D wing the gross Reynolds number is calculated on mean chord which is wing area/ span. Similar relation can be used here.
