Hey Guys,

can someone explain, what is meant by a zonal interface?

I am doing a CFD-analysis of an axial turbomaschine. In my pre-processing tool, I could choose between a mixing plane as an interface and a zonal interface between Rotor and Stator.

As I calculate stationary, I wonder, how an interpolation of values is done there. I can't really find informations about zonal interfaces.

Best regards

Hello,

Which pre-processing tool are you using? Is it CFX-Pre?
